2. Majestic Myanmar Package [2]

4 Days Myanmar

(Yangon – Bago – Kyaikhtiyo – Yangon)

Day 1 – Yangon

On your arrival at Yangon International Airport you will be warmly welcome by our guide greeting you by saying “Mingala Ba” which is our Myanmar Traditional way of offering you an auspicious day. Your sightseeing list among many other interesting places to visit in Yangon City center features CHAUKHTATE GYI PAGODA, a colossal reclining Buddha. The KARAWEIK hall, a Royal barge to the Royal Lake, The NATIONAL MUSEUM, The GEMS MUSEUM and shopping at Bogyoke Market to buy souvenirs (Myanmar handicrafts). Lunch and Dinner will be arranged at a restaurant which will include a traditional show and a vocal musical event. To end up the day you will be visiting our world famous SHWEDAGON PAGODA to watch the sunset. Overnight will be at a Hotel in Yangon.

Day 2 – Yangon – Bago – Kyaikhtiyo

Day two will start early in the morning after breakfast at hotel for a 2 hr car excursion trip to Bago city which is in the north east of Yangon. Sightseeing attractions will includes Shwe Thar Lyaung Pagoda dating back to 994 and reversed by Myanmar Buddhists as the most beautiful Reclining Buddha image. Next visits will be Shwe Maw Taw Pagoda, also famous as the Landmark of Bago, which has a stupa inlaid with diamonds and many other Pagodas including the spirits (Nat) house called Hin Tha Kone Pagoda, King Bayint Naung Palace of 15th century and world war II British Cemetery. Lunch will be at a restaurant and then continue journey to Kyaikhtiyo city where the famous Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock Pagoda) is situated. This legendary Golden Rock, which holds the hairs of Buddha, perches on top of Kyaikhtiyo hill at about 3,600 feet above sea level and is said to balance without really touching the hill. Climbing the hill will give you the opportunity to have a panoramic and breathtaking view of the surrounding country side and a magnificent sun setting view over Kyaikhtiyo area which will naturally amaze you tremendously.

Day 3 – Kyaikhtiyo – Yangon

After breakfast at Hotel a morning sightseeing on Kyaikhtiyo Hill and a 5 hr drive return to Yangon by car. In the evening, a visit around bustling Yangon’s China Town full of road side shops and food stalls. Then proceed to the Town hall and view the beautiful glittering Golden Sule Pagoda, also a landmark of Golden City Yangon, which will be illuminated with infinite lights. Dinner at a restaurant with overnight rest at Hotel.

Day 4 – Yangon – Departure to your next destination

After breakfast at hotel some leisure time will be available for you before proceeding to Yangon International Airport, from where you will fly back to your destination with memories of your wonderful trip to Myanmar.
